Eugenie Lane Gray

Eugenie Lane Gray passed away on December 17, 2025 at the age of 76.  She was born on November 16, 1949 to Paula Marshall Gray and Robert Walter Gray.  Genie was a resident of Greenbelt, MD.  She is survived by her sister, Paulette Gray, brother Scott Gray (Diana), brother in law James Yagley (Opal), nephew Scott Gray, Jr(Sarah), nephew Patrick Gray, niece Margie Gray(Kyle), Niece Haley Gray(Joe), nephew Boone, Great nephews Declan and Morgan Gray and Great niece, Eleanor Jane and many wonderful cousins. Genie enjoyed being with family, shopping, British TV, reading and flowers. Even when ill, she was kind and pleasant and cared more about whether her family were taking care of themselves, than about them taking care of her.  Christmas showed Genie’s generosity as she delighted in giving presents to anyone she could, especially to those Genie loved.  We will miss her.

She is predeceased by her mother, Paula Marshall Gray; father, Robert Walter Gray; sister, Jane Adele Gray Yagley; brother in law, Antonios Perros; nephew in law, Zach Riggs.

Her Funeral Service will be Saturday March 21, 2026, 11 AM at the Christ Church (LaPlata, MD) followed by interment at Mt. Rest Cemetery. Repass to follow at the Blue Dog Saloon (7940 Port Tobacco Rd. Port Tobacco, MD 20677).
